About this asset

This contemporary white lacquer display cabinet for SketchUp features distinctive arch-top door panels and integrated interior lighting. Designed with a clean, symmetrical aesthetic, this tall storage unit features a white finish with decorative arch motifs on both the upper and lower cabinet doors. The central section provides open, illuminated shelving, framed by a larger arched recess that serves as a focal point for display items. Proportions are balanced, with solid doors concealing lower and upper compartments while the middle shelves remain accessible. The internal back panels of the open niches are finished in a soft blush pink, providing a subtle contrast to the stark white frame and glass-fronted storage areas.

The download is a 6.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this unit into a SketchUp scene, place the component against a wall or within a custom millwork assembly. Utilize the native layer structure to toggle the visibility of the internal decorative objects if required for a cleaner scene. The integrated lighting components can be managed via light-emitting materials or proxy light sources depending on the chosen render engine. Ensure the model is scaled correctly to the room height and verify that the origin point is set to the base for easy floor-level positioning.

This display cabinet is ideal for residential interior projects, specifically within nurseries, children's bedrooms, or playrooms. It functions effectively as a decorative storage piece for toys, books, and personal accessories. Designers often search for arched furniture or character-driven storage solutions to add visual interest to contemporary kid-centric spaces. It pairs well with neutral palettes and soft pastel accents, fitting seamlessly into modern residential schemes where playful yet functional storage is required. The unit provides a versatile solution for curated shelving and organized toy storage.
