About this asset

This contemporary white fabric task chair for SketchUp features a distinctive wingback silhouette and a tufted lumbar cushion detail. This task chair combines a formal wingback aesthetic with the functionality of a swivel office chair. It features a high, curved backrest upholstered in a light-coloured fabric, complemented by a central tufted lumbar cushion that adds texture and support. The armrests are softly rolled, transitioning smoothly from the seat frame. The base is a standard five-star configuration finished in a dark, matte tone, equipped with matching white-accented castors for mobility. The proportions are balanced to provide a comfortable, upright seating position suitable for professional or home office workspaces.

The download is a 2.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and orientation within your scene. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to apply custom materials or adjust the seat height by manipulating the central component axis. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for better scene management. If rendering, verify the material mapping on the fabric surfaces and adjust the metallic finish of the base to suit your lighting environment and desired level of reflection.

Ideal for executive home offices, professional boardrooms, or boutique residential study spaces, this chair adds a touch of sophistication to standard workspace layouts. It pairs effectively with classic wood desks or minimalist glass-topped workstations. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for high-end residential projects or executive suites. Its neutral palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into diverse interior schemes, from modern minimalist to transitional styles, providing both visual interest and practical utility.
