Contemporary White Fabric Upholstered S-Shaped Lounge Chair

This contemporary white fabric upholstered lounge chair for SketchUp features a distinct S-shaped silhouette with integrated channel tufting. This lounge chair features a continuous, sinuous S-shaped form that functions as a sculptural seat. The entire piece is upholstered in a clean, off-white fabric, providing a uniform aesthetic. The design is defined by its fluid, ergonomic curves, which transition seamlessly from the backrest to the seat and down to the floor. Vertical channel tufting runs across the full length of the chair, adding texture and visual rhythm to the minimalist profile. The proportions are compact yet comfortable, making it an ideal choice for focused seating areas or as a statement piece in a room.

The download is an 11.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this SketchUp model into a scene, ensure the component is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility management. The model is scaled to standard lounge chair dimensions, but verify alignment with existing floor planes to avoid clipping. Apply high-resolution fabric textures to the geometry to enhance the visual depth of the channel tufting. Because the form is organic, use a proxy if necessary to maintain viewport performance when populating larger spaces or multiple seating configurations within a single project file.

This lounge chair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout spaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as part of a curated reading nook. Designers searching for sculptural furniture or accent seating will find this piece useful for establishing a focal point in contemporary interiors. The neutral palette allows it to integrate into diverse schemes, from monochromatic minimalist rooms to more eclectic spaces requiring a clean, geometric silhouette to ground the surrounding decor.
