About this asset

This built-in wall aquarium SketchUp model features a recessed tank design with integrated aquatic life and underwater lighting effects. Designed as a sleek, recessed architectural feature, this aquarium tank is framed in a minimalist black surround. The internal composition includes a deep-blue water volume populated with various tropical fish species and a dense arrangement of aquatic vegetation, including tall stalks and ground-level ferns. The base of the tank contains a simulated gravel substrate. The structure is intended to be installed within a wall cavity, creating a clean interface with the surrounding interior finishes. It provides a high-fidelity visual representation of a functional aquarium, complete with depth, lighting, and complex organic elements.

The download is a 154 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a project, import the component into your SketchUp model and position it within a wall opening. Use the scale tool to adjust the dimensions to match specific wall depths or heights. The textures and materials are mapped for immediate use; however, you may need to adjust the transparency of the glass surfaces depending on your scene's lighting environment. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling during the design process.
