Contemporary Black Leather Modular Sofa with Side Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa set features a deep-seated black leather modular sofa paired with a sleek metal and wood side table. This modular sofa is defined by its low-profile, deep-cushioned form and distinctive tufted leather upholstery in a deep black finish. The armrests are particularly notable, featuring a unique stacked-cylinder design pierced by a vertical metal rod. The set includes a minimalist side table constructed from a slender chrome-finished metal frame with a dark wood top and integrated storage shelf. Soft textiles, including a striped throw blanket and a patterned accent cushion, are included to add texture and break up the monochromatic appearance of the leather seating arrangement.

The download is a 106 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the sofa and side table components. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly placed at the base of each object to facilitate placement in a scene. The leather and wood materials are pre-assigned with standard procedural maps, allowing for quick adjustments to reflection or bump intensity. For optimal results, apply a high-quality environment HDRI to capture the subtle highlights across the tufted leather surfaces and the metallic elements.

Ideal for high-end residential living rooms or luxury lounge areas in hospitality projects, this set provides a polished, modern aesthetic. The modular nature of the sofa allows for flexible arrangements in open-plan spaces, while the accompanying side table is perfectly scaled for placement alongside a lounge chair or at the end of a sectional. Designers searching for sophisticated, monochromatic seating solutions will find this asset useful for visualising premium interiors, particularly when paired with minimalist floor lamps or abstract wall art.
