Contemporary White Fabric Upholstered Armchair with Throw Blanket

This contemporary SketchUp model features a white fabric armchair with dark timber legs, accented by a draped textured throw blanket. This compact armchair features a curved, semi-circular backrest that flows seamlessly into integrated armrests. The seat is upholstered in a clean, off-white fabric, providing a neutral aesthetic suitable for various interior palettes. It is supported by four tapered, dark-stained timber legs that provide a subtle contrast to the light upholstery. A detailed, draped throw blanket with a visible knit texture rests across the seat, adding a layer of realism and visual softness to the piece. The overall proportions suggest a comfortable, supportive lounge chair designed for residential or boutique hospitality settings.

The download is a 42.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised as a clean, component-based group, allowing for easy placement and scaling within your interior scenes. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily edited or swapped in the material browser to match your project's specific colour scheme. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated furniture layer to maintain scene organisation. For rendering, apply reflective properties to the timber legs and soft, fabric-like bump maps to the upholstery to enhance the visual depth.

Ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, or quiet reading nooks, this armchair integrates well into modern and contemporary interior design schemes. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as an accent piece in a larger seating arrangement. Professionals searching for a versatile lounge chair for staging, architectural visualisation, or interior design projects will find this asset useful for adding detail to lounge areas, hotel lobbies, or private suites. Its neutral design ensures it complements a wide range of surrounding decor styles.
