About this asset

This contemporary white fabric L-shaped sectional sofa for 3ds Max features a clean-lined frame and contrasting scatter cushions. Defined by its structured, minimalist silhouette, this L-shaped sectional sofa offers a balanced aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The primary upholstery is a crisp white fabric, providing a neutral base that complements the slender, industrial-style metal legs. The configuration includes a chaise section on the left, paired with two main seat modules. Comfort is enhanced by plush back cushions and a selection of decorative accent pillows in muted blue and earthy brown tones, which add depth and visual interest to the overall composition. The proportions are deep and generous, ideal for relaxed lounge settings.

The download is a 36 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is aligned to the base for efficient placement on floor planes. The fabric textures are mapped to standard material slots, allowing for easy adjustment of tiling or colour tints to suit specific project palettes. Use the existing layer structure to manage the sofa and cushion components independently, facilitating quick adjustments to the seating arrangement or the removal of individual scatter cushions during scene population to optimize viewport performance.

This sectional sofa is a versatile choice for residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, or upscale hotel lobbies where a clean, contemporary look is required. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables and textured area rugs to anchor a seating group. Designers frequently source this type of asset for high-end residential staging or interior design visualization projects. Search for it when specifying comfortable, modular seating that maintains a light, airy presence within a space, particularly in minimalist or transitional design schemes.
