About this asset

This contemporary white fabric curved sofa SketchUp model features an organic, sweeping silhouette anchored by a solid wood base. Defined by its fluid, crescent-like geometry, this sofa offers a minimalist aesthetic suitable for sophisticated interior schemes. The upholstery is rendered as a clean, textured white fabric that wraps seamlessly over the rounded backrest and deep, continuous seat cushion. A low-profile timber base follows the gentle arc of the frame, providing a subtle material contrast that grounds the piece. The design lacks visible legs, relying instead on a plinth-style foundation that enhances its sculptural quality. Its proportions are generous, intended to serve as a primary focal point within a spacious living area.

The download is a 10.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, place the component directly into the scene using the base as the primary alignment point. The geometry is grouped for easy manipulation, allowing for quick material swaps or scaling adjustments as needed. For high-quality visualisations, apply a realistic fabric texture map to the upholstery surfaces and use a soft, ambient light source to highlight the subtle curves and shadows inherent in the organic form, ensuring the model sits naturally within the floor plane.

This sofa is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern lounge spaces where a statement piece is required. It pairs well with low-profile coffee tables and circular area rugs that echo its curved geometry. When searching for this type of seating, professionals often look for terms such as organic sofa, curved lounge seating, or minimalist white sofa. It is a versatile choice for projects requiring a soft, inviting atmosphere during the design development or final rendering stages.
