Contemporary White and Walnut TV Unit with Fluted Doors

This contemporary TV unit for SketchUp features a walnut-toned top, white frame, and black fluted cabinet doors on a minimal base. This low-profile media console offers a balanced mix of open and closed storage, ideal for modern interior schemes. The unit is defined by a rectangular walnut-finish top surface that contrasts with the clean white carcass. Flanking a central section of two open shelves are two storage cabinets featuring vertical fluted detailing, which adds visual texture. The entire piece is elevated on a slim, black-finished metal frame that provides a light, airy aesthetic despite the solid construction. Clean lines and a neutral palette ensure this console integrates seamlessly into various contemporary living spaces.

The download is a 563 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When using this unit in SketchUp, ensure it is placed on the floor plane using the move tool and snapped to the wall surface for accurate positioning. The model is structured with logical grouping, allowing for easy material assignment or modification of the cabinet fronts. Users can quickly scale the length if necessary, though maintaining the aspect ratio of the fluted detailing is recommended. For high-quality visualisations, apply a slight reflection map to the walnut top and adjust the transparency of the cabinet textures.

It pairs well with minimalist decor, neutral-toned wall treatments, and modern soft furnishings. Designers often search for this type of media console when styling contemporary homes, upscale hospitality suites, or curated project showrooms.
