About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max storage partition features an oak-framed central display with white cabinetry and integrated vertical slats. Designed as a floor-to-ceiling room divider, this unit balances closed storage with an open, illuminated central display zone. The outer frame and central shelving are finished in a natural oak veneer, contrasting with the matte white finish of the upper and lower cupboard doors. Flanking the central display are vertical white slats that provide architectural interest and visual depth. The central open section includes integrated lighting to highlight curated objects, while the lower and upper sections offer extensive concealed storage, making it a functional yet aesthetic solution for zoning open-plan interiors.

The download is a 169 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is structured with distinct material IDs for the oak and white surfaces, facilitating easy texture adjustments. The model is organised into logical groups for the cabinet doors and shelving, allowing for straightforward placement within a scene. Users should map the wood grain coordinates to ensure consistent orientation across the frame. Lighting for the display shelves is provided by separate light objects, which can be adjusted in intensity or colour temperature to suit the project's overall render environment.

Ideal for residential living rooms, home offices, or open-plan corporate lobbies, this partition unit serves as both a functional storage solution and a decorative focal point. It works effectively in contemporary or minimalist interiors where spatial zoning is required without sacrificing light or visual continuity. Professionals can use this asset when searching for bespoke joinery, room dividers, or integrated wall units to add character to high-end residential projects or modern office breakout areas, pairing well with neutral furniture palettes.
