About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max hallway storage unit features slatted white doors, open shelving, a built-in bench, and a tall mirror. Combining functional storage with a seating area, this hallway unit is finished in a light natural wood tone paired with white louvered cabinet doors. The left section includes two-door cupboards at the top and bottom with open shelving in the middle. The right side features a vertical open niche with a tall, rounded-edge mirror and a cushioned bench seat for footwear removal. A top-mounted closed storage compartment sits above the mirror section. The structure is clean-lined and compact, making it suitable for tight entryways where efficient organisation and utility are required.

The download is a 72.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer separation for the cabinetry, hardware, and decorative accessories. Users should check the pivot points on the cabinet doors to ensure proper rotation for opening animations. The material library utilizes standard shaders that can be easily mapped to preferred render engine nodes. Ensure the model is scaled according to your project units before merging into your scene to maintain correct ergonomic proportions for the bench and storage height.

Ideal for residential entryways, mudrooms, and small apartment foyers, this unit serves as a practical focal point for transitional spaces. It pairs well with minimalist or contemporary interior styles, providing a cohesive solution for coat storage, shoe organisation, and last-minute grooming.
