Contemporary Grey Fabric Acrylic Armchair with Chess Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric armchair and a matching acrylic coffee table with a chess set arrangement. This set comprises a minimalist armchair and a low-profile coffee table, both defined by their use of transparent acrylic structural elements. The armchair features a slim, clear acrylic frame supporting a plush, light-grey fabric seat and a matching backrest cushion. Small, metallic circular hardware accents secure the upholstery to the side panels, providing a subtle contrast to the transparent aesthetic. Beside it, the coffee table is constructed entirely from clear acrylic, showcasing a clean, rectangular silhouette that holds a decorative chess board and pieces, creating a cohesive, light-filled lounge display suitable for modern interiors.

The download is a 26.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of individual components. The transparent acrylic materials are configured with appropriate refraction and reflection settings for standard render engines. Users should verify that the normals are correctly oriented on the acrylic surfaces to ensure accurate light transmission. The upholstery uses simple, clean UV mapping, making it straightforward to swap fabric textures or adjust the grey tone to suit specific interior palettes without compromising the model's overall integrity.
