About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a live-edge walnut table paired with cane-back chairs in green upholstery. The set comprises a prominent rectangular dining table with a thick, natural live-edge walnut slab top supported by a solid central pedestal base. Accompanying the table are six dining chairs, each constructed from walnut timber with a curved backrest featuring integrated woven rattan cane detailing. The seats are upholstered in a muted sage-green fabric, offering a soft contrast to the deep, rich tones of the wood. This combination of organic textures and clean lines provides a balanced aesthetic suitable for modern residential or high-end hospitality dining interiors.

The download is a 176 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max scene directly into their projects, ensuring the pivot points for the chairs are correctly aligned for easy placement around the table. The materials are pre-configured, allowing for quick adjustments to wood grains or fabric textures within the material editor. When scaling, maintain the aspect ratio of the table to preserve the live-edge proportions. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the natural wood grain and the intricate woven detail of the rattan backrests for optimal results.

This dining set is ideal for open-plan residential layouts, modern kitchen-diners, or boutique restaurant dining areas. It pairs well with natural stone flooring, textured wall panels, and indoor greenery, as seen in the surrounding scene. Professionals searching for a balanced, tactile furniture arrangement will find this set effective for high-quality architectural visualisations.
