About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max TV cabinet features a distinct herringbone wood-grain pattern and a sleek, elevated charcoal metal base. Defined by its balanced proportions, this media console combines a warm walnut-toned finish with a dark, architectural metal frame. The cabinet body showcases a sophisticated chevron or herringbone veneer pattern on its two swing doors, providing a subtle textural contrast to the smooth, open central shelving unit. The entire structure is supported by slender, angled metal legs finished in a matte charcoal, lending the piece a lightweight, elevated aesthetic. The design includes a dedicated open compartment for media devices, ensuring a clean, uncluttered profile while providing functional storage for modern living spaces.

The download is an 18.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

This 3ds Max asset is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for efficient integration into larger interior scenes. Users can easily adjust the material properties or swap textures to match specific project requirements. The model is scaled for standard AV equipment placement, making it simple to snap into position against wall surfaces. When lighting the scene, the metallic base and wood surfaces respond well to standard physical material setups, ensuring realistic reflections and light fall-off in interior renders.

Ideal for residential living rooms, media suites, or boutique hotel interiors, this cabinet provides a refined storage solution for entertainment areas. It complements mid-century inspired or contemporary decor schemes, pairing well with low-profile sofas and minimalist wall treatments. Professionals searching for a stylish media console, timber entertainment unit, or herringbone storage cabinet will find this piece highly versatile. It is suitable for use in both concept development and final high-end architectural visualisation projects where a balance of warmth and industrial edge is desired.
