About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features an oval glass top supported by a sculptural walnut timber base with cut-out detailing. Defined by its sculptural form, this coffee table centers on a large, transparent oval glass top that showcases the intricate base design beneath. The structure consists of two vertical walnut timber supports, each featuring uniform rectangular cut-outs that provide a sense of lightness and architectural interest. The warm, natural wood grain of the walnut contrasts effectively with the clarity of the glass, creating a balanced aesthetic. Included in this asset are curated decorative elements, such as books and a small tray, which add a layer of lived-in realism to the composition.

The download is a 25.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max asset directly into their scene, ensuring the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy floor-level placement. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material adjustments to the timber or glass properties if needed to match specific interior lighting conditions. It is best practice to group the included accessories separately from the table geometry, enabling designers to toggle the decor visibility or replace it with custom assets to suit the specific project requirements.

This coffee table is a versatile addition to high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lounges, or modern office reception areas. It pairs well with low-profile sectional sofas or mid-century inspired lounge chairs. Professionals searching for a centrepiece that balances organic wood textures with clean, contemporary lines will find this model suitable for both minimalist and eclectic interior styles. It integrates seamlessly into architectural visualisations where a sophisticated, grounded focal point is required to anchor the seating arrangement within a larger open-plan space.
