About this asset

This contemporary walnut-finished five-bay bookcase for 3ds Max features a modular structure with integrated decor and books. Constructed with a clean-lined, contemporary aesthetic, this large-scale storage unit features five distinct vertical bays. The frame is finished in a rich walnut veneer, providing a warm, dark brown tone throughout. Each bay includes multiple horizontal shelves, offering ample space for the included collection of books, vases, and small sculptural objects. The base is solid, providing a grounded foundation for the tall, linear silhouette. The overall design prioritises geometric precision and functional storage, making it suitable for a variety of professional or high-end residential interiors where organised, visible storage is required.

The download is a 63.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the unit is placed on the floor plane using snapping tools for precision. The assets are organised by layers, allowing for easy management or removal of the decorative books and objects if a cleaner look is desired. Users should check scale against their scene units before final placement. Materials are applied via standard shader slots, and lighting should be adjusted to highlight the wood grain texture and the depth of the shelves.

This bookcase is ideal for architectural visualisations of modern home offices, private libraries, or executive suites. It pairs effectively with minimalist desk arrangements or lounge seating areas to create a sophisticated focal point. Professionals searching for large-scale wall storage, library shelving, or feature wall units will find this asset versatile for both residential and commercial project stages. It is particularly effective in scenes requiring a sense of lived-in luxury or professional organisation, fitting seamlessly into contemporary or high-end transitional design schemes.
