About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max desk set features a walnut surface balanced by a minimalist glass support and includes matching seating. This workspace composition centres on a rectangular desk finished in a rich walnut veneer. The structural design provides a visual contrast, pairing a solid timber leg on one side with a transparent glass support on the other, creating a light, airy aesthetic. The set is accompanied by a curved-back upholstered desk chair and two matching circular stools with cream-toned fabric seating. Decorative accessories, including a small table lamp, a laptop, and a stack of books, are included to complete the scene, providing a realistic sense of scale and materiality for interior visualisations.

The download is a 21.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material adjustments. Users can quickly merge the set into larger project files, adjusting the walnut wood grain or fabric textures via the Slate Material Editor. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within a room. Lighting should be set up to highlight the transparency of the glass leg, perhaps using an HDRI to capture subtle reflections on the polished wood surface.

This desk set is ideal for high-end residential home offices, executive suites, and boutique studio spaces. It fits seamlessly into modern and contemporary interior design schemes where a balance of warmth and transparency is required. Professionals often search for this type of furniture when specifying home-working environments or compact executive workspaces. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall treatments and soft area rugs, making it a versatile choice for both conceptual design presentations and final high-fidelity architectural renders.
