About this asset

This contemporary 3-seater sofa scene for 3ds Max features a grey fluted fabric sofa accompanied by two distinctive wooden side tables. This 3-seater sofa is defined by its deep vertical fluting across the backrest, seat, and arms, creating a rhythmic, textured profile. The upholstery is a neutral grey fabric with a subtle tactile finish. The set includes three decorative throw cushions in olive green and burnt orange with a woven pattern. Flanking the sofa are two rustic side tables: one is a raw, natural log cross-section, and the other is a cubic wooden block topped with small decorative planters. A monochromatic houndstooth throw is draped casually over the left arm, adding a layer of visual softness.

The download is a 33.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is organised as a grouped object set. Users can easily detach the sofa from the side tables or toggle the visibility of the cushions and throw to suit specific compositions. The materials are pre-applied, allowing for quick integration into larger interior scenes. When placing this model, ensure the floor plane is correctly aligned with the base of the sofa and log table to maintain realistic contact shadows, as the geometry of the log table is irregular and requires careful placement.

This grouping is ideal for contemporary living room renders, high-end residential projects, and lounge area visualisations. Its neutral palette and textured fluting allow it to pair seamlessly with minimalist or mid-century modern interiors. Professionals looking for a ready-styled seating arrangement will find this useful for speeding up draft stages of a project. It works effectively in both light-filled open-plan spaces and more intimate, moody interiors where the contrast between the fabric sofa and the raw wood side tables provides a strong focal point.
