Contemporary Walnut and Cream Modular Storage Wall Unit

Contemporary modular wall storage unit in 3ds Max, featuring a walnut finish with cream doors, open shelving, and integrated lighting. This expansive wall-mounted storage system combines solid walnut-toned timber with matte cream-finished door panels to create a balanced, modern aesthetic. The configuration includes large closed wardrobes on the flanks, a central open-shelf display section with integrated LED strip lighting, and a bank of eight lower drawers for concealed storage. The unit features clean, minimalist lines with slim horizontal hardware. The open shelving provides ample space for books and decorative accessories, while the vertical proportions and contrasting materials create a sophisticated focal point suitable for high-end residential or executive office interiors.

The download is a 46.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this unit into a 3ds Max scene, use the align tool to position it against the desired wall surface. The model is organised by material and component, allowing for easy adjustment of the LED light intensity or texture mapping on the walnut surfaces. Users should verify the scale against their floor plan and consider adding a custom light source within the shelving compartments to match the existing emissive properties of the model’s built-in lighting.

This modular storage system is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, home libraries, or executive office settings requiring sophisticated organisation. It pairs well with modern minimalist furniture and neutral colour palettes. Search for terms like 'bespoke joinery', 'wall-to-wall storage', 'contemporary shelving units', or 'modular cabinetry' when planning a layout. It is particularly effective in large open-plan spaces where a singular, cohesive storage solution is needed to anchor the room's design while providing both display and concealed storage capacity.
