About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a straight kitchen island bar with a rich walnut-brown timber top and grey concrete structure. The unit presents a clean, linear silhouette suitable for modern interiors. It features a thick, warm-toned walnut timber countertop with gently rounded ends, providing a smooth surface for service or dining. The supporting carcass is constructed from a textured grey concrete finish, offering a robust industrial contrast to the timber. Inside, the unit is divided into four distinct storage compartments via vertical and horizontal partitions, creating an open-shelving configuration that allows for easy access to stored items. The side panels are detailed with vertical timber slats, adding a rhythmic, tactile element to the overall design.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for accurate placement on the floor plane. The object is structured with logical material IDs, allowing for easy adjustment of the walnut and concrete shaders via the material editor. Use the units as a standalone service counter or group them to form a continuous run, scaling as necessary to fit specific project dimensions while maintaining the proportions of the shelving units and the countertop thickness.

This versatile piece functions effectively as a kitchen island, a small café service bar, or an informal reception desk in retail or office environments. It pairs well with minimalist stools, industrial-style pendants, or warm accent lighting to highlight the timber grain. Designers looking for a balance between raw material aesthetics and functional storage will find this useful for open-plan residential layouts, boutique hotel lobbies, or contemporary workspace break-out areas.
