Contemporary Sage Velvet Upholstered King Bed with Grid Headboard

This contemporary SketchUp model features a sage velvet upholstered king bed with a tufted headboard and a decorative metal grid backdrop. The bed features a low-profile frame fully upholstered in a textured sage green velvet, extending to a deep-button tufted headboard. The bedding ensemble includes a houndstooth-patterned duvet cover paired with neutral grey quilted pillows. Behind the bed, a geometric brass-toned metal grid acts as a feature wall element. The set is completed by two fluted cylindrical side tables in a light concrete finish, each topped with a minimalist table lamp. The proportions are generous, suited for a master suite, presenting a cohesive, layered aesthetic through contrasting textures and soft, muted colour tones.

The download is a 138 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and adjustment of the individual components. Users should ensure the bed is placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design process. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily scaled or replaced to suit specific project requirements. For rendering, ensure the metal grid and velvet fabric settings are adjusted to capture the intended light reflection and depth of the material finishes.

Ideal for residential master bedrooms or boutique hotel suites, this bed provides a sophisticated focal point for high-end interior projects. It pairs effectively with neutral wall finishes and natural flooring materials like timber or light stone. Professionals can search for this asset when specifying luxury bedroom furniture or creating detailed interior visualisations for residential developments. It integrates seamlessly into modern or contemporary design schemes where a balance of texture, soft colour, and geometric detail is required to achieve a refined, comfortable atmosphere.
