Contemporary Walnut and Black Upholstered Platform Bed Set

This contemporary 3ds Max bedroom set features a walnut platform bed with a black upholstered headboard and an integrated slatted wall vanity. This bedroom ensemble centres on a low-profile platform bed finished in a warm walnut veneer. The headboard is composed of dark, upholstered panels, providing a clean contrast to the timber frame. Extending from the bed's structure is a bespoke vertical slatted wall panel that serves as a feature backdrop, incorporating a floating vanity shelf and a circular wall mirror. The set includes a small, cylindrical upholstered stool and layered bedding with textured throws and pillows. The entire composition is designed as a cohesive unit, balancing natural wood tones with sophisticated dark textile accents.

The download is a 34.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with logical layer separation for the bed frame, the slatted wall panel, and the decorative accessories. Users should import the file as a single group, then ungroup to adjust the mattress or bedding geometry if required. The materials are mapped using standard coordinate systems, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain direction or fabric bump maps to suit specific lighting setups. Ensure the pivot point is set at the floor level for efficient placement within a scene.

This set is ideal for high-end residential master suites, luxury hotel bedroom interiors, or boutique apartment show homes. It functions perfectly as a primary focal point in a contemporary bedroom design, pairing well with ambient cove lighting or minimalist bedside pendants. Search for this asset when looking for integrated bedroom furniture solutions, slatted timber wall treatments, or modern platform bed designs. It is particularly effective for rapid prototyping in interior design projects where a complete, styled bedroom corner is required for quick visualisation.
