About this asset

This contemporary fabric roller blinds set for SketchUp features five distinct colour variations with integrated metal operating chains. This collection comprises five individual roller blind units, each featuring a consistent minimalist design profile. The blinds are constructed from a textured fabric material, available in a palette ranging from light beige to deep brown and rich teal. Each unit includes a slim cylindrical headrail and a weighted bottom bar, both finished in a neutral metallic tone. The side-mounted ball-chain mechanism is rendered with realistic detail, allowing for precise placement within window recesses. These units are presented as a set, providing a versatile range of options for interior lighting control and privacy solutions.

The download is a 59.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these blinds into a SketchUp model, import the components and utilise the move tool to snap them to the interior face of window frames. Use the scale tool to adjust the width and drop length to match specific project glazing dimensions. The materials are applied as standard SketchUp textures, allowing for easy adjustment of UV mapping or colour tinting. Ensure the blinds are placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility during the design and rendering process.

These roller blinds are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and home offices, as well as commercial office settings requiring functional window treatments. They pair effectively with modern glazing systems and minimalist interior schemes. Search for these assets when specifying window shading, privacy screens, or light control elements for interior visualisations. The varied colour options allow for quick iteration when testing different schemes, making them a practical addition to any architectural library for developers and interior designers working on contemporary fit-outs.
