Contemporary Velvet and Fabric Sofa Scene Set

This contemporary sofa set in SketchUp features four distinct upholstered seating vignettes with varied fabric and velvet finishes. This collection comprises four distinct lounge area compositions, each featuring a different sofa model. The designs range from curved, organic silhouettes to structured, linear profiles. Upholstery options include deep blue velvet, crisp white fabric, and muted green textile finishes, often accented with contrasting scatter cushions. The frames incorporate slender metal legs and occasional timber detailing. Each scene is styled with complementary elements such as marble-topped coffee tables, floor lamps, and patterned rugs, providing a comprehensive selection of modern seating arrangements for various interior design concepts.

The download is a 54.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can import this SketchUp model directly into their project environment to populate living room layouts. Each sofa is organised as a discrete component, allowing for easy selection, rotation, and placement within a room. Materials are applied as standard SketchUp textures, which can be edited or replaced via the materials browser to suit specific render engine requirements. Grouping objects by scene helps maintain a clean outliner, facilitating efficient management of complex interior models.

These sofa arrangements are suitable for residential interior design projects, high-end apartment visualisations, and hospitality lounge areas. They integrate well into contemporary living room schemes, providing ready-made furniture groupings that save time during early-stage concept development. Professionals can use these models to establish scale and proportion in floor plans or to create detailed 3D perspectives. They pair effectively with minimalist or mid-century decor, serving as focal points for seating areas in show homes, hotel suites, and executive waiting rooms.
