Contemporary Marble and Glass Dining Set with Sideboard

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a marble-topped table, glass-based chairs with fabric cushions, and a matching black marble sideboard. This dining ensemble pairs a sleek, white-veined marble table with three distinct chairs featuring cylindrical glass bases and plush, upholstered seat cushions in alternating brown and patterned fabrics. An integrated sideboard, finished in dark, white-veined marble with a thin metallic base, extends from one end of the table, creating a unified, multi-functional piece. The design prioritises transparency and material contrast, blending solid stone surfaces with lightweight glass elements. The set is accessorised with decorative glass vases and small plants, highlighting the clean, modern aesthetic suitable for high-end dining or open-plan living areas.

The download is a 122 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for the table, chairs, and sideboard, allowing for easy placement and material adjustments. Users should import the file as a single group, then ungroup to position individual chairs according to the project layout. The glass materials utilise standard refraction settings, while the marble surfaces rely on high-resolution diffuse and bump maps. Ensure that light sources are positioned to catch the reflections on the glass bases to maintain the intended visual impact of the design.
