About this asset

This contemporary teal velvet upholstered ottoman for 3ds Max features a button-tufted top and tapered dark-wood legs for a refined look. This rectangular ottoman is defined by its plush, button-tufted seat cushion, which provides a tactile, textured surface. The upholstery is a vibrant teal velvet, accented by clean white piping along the edges that highlights the structured, boxy silhouette. The piece is supported by four slim, tapered legs finished in a deep walnut-brown wood tone, offering a subtle mid-century aesthetic. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable as a versatile footrest or a compact occasional seat. Its design combines soft, inviting fabric with rigid, angled wooden supports to create a balanced piece of furniture.

The download is a 9.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base of the legs for easy placement on floor surfaces. The texture maps for the velvet and wood finishes are typically mapped using standard UVW modifiers; verify that the scale of the velvet pile is consistent with your scene's lighting setup. Because the geometry is well-defined, it can be easily grouped with other seating arrangements or used as a standalone accent piece in interior visualisations.

This ottoman works well in residential living rooms, bedrooms, or boutique hotel lounges where a touch of colour and texture is required. It pairs effectively with mid-century or contemporary armchairs and sofas, serving as a functional footstool or extra seating for guests. Designers often search for tufted ottomans to add depth to neutral interior palettes. Its compact footprint makes it an ideal choice for smaller apartments or reading nooks, providing comfort without overwhelming the space while maintaining a high-end, polished appearance.
