About this asset

This contemporary tan velvet lounge chair 3ds Max model features a distinctive cantilevered form and horizontal channel tufted detailing. Defined by its continuous, sweeping silhouette, this lounge chair features a cantilevered frame that provides a subtle, ergonomic flex. The piece is fully upholstered in a soft-touch tan velvet, which accentuates its curved profile and organic geometry. Horizontal channel tufting across the backrest and seat surface adds visual rhythm and structural definition to the otherwise minimalist form. The base is integrated into the primary structure, creating a seamless transition from the ground to the seat. Its proportions are low and deep, intended for relaxed, informal seating environments where comfort and sculptural presence are prioritized.

To integrate this lounge chair into a 3ds Max scene, utilize the provided geometry as a base for custom material application or use the native shaders included in the file. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for accurate placement on floor surfaces. For optimal results, apply a sub-division modifier if close-up camera angles are required, and verify that the velvet texture mapping is oriented correctly to maintain the fabric's natural nap and light-catching properties.

This lounge chair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive lounge areas. Its sculptural profile makes it an effective focal point in minimalist or contemporary interior design schemes. Professionals searching for statement seating often pair this piece with low-profile coffee tables or place it as a standalone accent chair in reading nooks. It complements modern material palettes, including polished concrete floors, natural timber finishes, and neutral-toned wall treatments, providing a warm, tactile contrast to hard architectural surfaces.
