About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a tan leather tufted L-shaped sectional sofa with a chaise and two accent cushions. This L-shaped sectional sofa combines classic tufted detailing with a modern, low-profile silhouette. The entire frame, including the backrest and integrated armrests, features deep button tufting, providing a tactile, structured aesthetic. Upholstered in a warm tan leather, the piece rests on subtle, low-profile wooden feet. The configuration includes a dedicated chaise section on the right, offering an elongated seating area. Two decorative accent cushions—one in matching tan and one in a contrasting blue—are included, adding a layer of visual interest to the deep, horizontal lines of the backrest.

The download is a 9.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer separation for the sofa body, the cushions, and the base legs. Users should verify that the leather texture maps are correctly assigned upon import, as the tufting detail relies on both geometry and normal mapping for realism. Adjust the pivot point to the floor level for accurate placement in architectural scenes. The object is scaled to standard residential proportions, making it ready for immediate integration into interior design visualisations.

This sectional is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a sophisticated seating solution is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or textured area rugs to balance the heavy visual weight of the leather. Professionals searching for a statement piece to define a conversation area or open-plan living space will find this model versatile for both modern and transitional interior schemes, providing a classic, comfortable focal point for any project.
