About this asset

This contemporary tan leather lounge chair is a SketchUp model featuring a distinctive wing-back profile and a slim black metal base. Defined by its pronounced, sweeping wing-back silhouette, this lounge chair offers a modern take on classic comfort. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a warm tan leather, featuring clean, minimalist seam detailing that follows the ergonomic curve of the shell. The base is constructed from thin, powder-coated black metal rods, creating a lightweight, floating appearance that contrasts with the substantial, padded upper section. Included in this model is a matching minimalist floor lamp with a slender white stem and a circular base, completing a balanced, ready-to-use interior composition.

The download is a 5.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can scale the chair to match specific project requirements or adjust the leather texture mapping to align with custom finishes. The metal base is separated from the upholstered shell, allowing for quick material overrides or colour adjustments. When integrating into a project, place the chair as a component to maintain file efficiency and use layers to toggle the visibility of the accompanying floor lamp as needed for different camera angles.

This lounge chair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive breakout spaces. Its sleek profile makes it an ideal accent piece for contemporary interior design schemes where a balance of comfort and refined aesthetics is required. Professionals often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for reading nooks, formal waiting areas, or as part of a curated furniture set. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables, textured area rugs, and minimalist floor lamps.
