About this asset

This contemporary 8-seater dining set in SketchUp features a striking striped wood table paired with fabric-upholstered armchairs. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a distinctive high-contrast striped wood veneer surface, supported by a geometric metal base. Eight matching armchairs feature a slim, dark-toned metal frame with upholstered seats and backrests in a textured grey fabric. The set includes a cohesive arrangement of place settings, featuring white plates and decorative sculptural elements, creating a complete dining room composition. The proportions are balanced for a formal dining space, with the chairs providing a comfortable, modern aesthetic that complements the bold grain patterns of the table surface.

The download is an 11.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 9 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this model into a SketchUp scene, use the component browser to import the set as a single unit or explode it to manage individual chairs and table elements. Ensure the texture maps for the wood grain and fabric are correctly scaled within the materials editor for realistic rendering. The grouping allows for easy placement, while the individual components can be swapped or rearranged to suit specific floor plans or to create varied dining configurations within larger architectural projects.

Ideal for high-end residential dining rooms, luxury hospitality suites, and boutique restaurant interiors, this set serves as a focal point for contemporary design schemes. It pairs well with minimalist pendant lighting and neutral wall finishes, allowing the striped wood pattern to serve as a primary visual anchor. Designers can use this asset for project visualisations where a sophisticated, ready-to-use dining arrangement is required to communicate scale, materiality, and interior atmosphere effectively in both residential and commercial development presentations.
