About this asset

This contemporary sage green fabric lounge chair for 3ds Max features a distinct, single-piece quilted frame with an armless profile. This armless lounge chair is defined by its continuous, flowing silhouette that merges the seat and backrest into a singular, fluid form. The entire structure is upholstered in a sage green fabric, featuring a uniform grid of quilted stitching that adds texture and depth to the surface. Its low-slung, ergonomic design prioritizes a relaxed posture, making it a sculptural choice for modern interiors. The absence of traditional legs or a frame creates a clean, minimalist aesthetic, with the base of the chair touching the floor to form a stable, integrated support structure.

The download is a 4.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset, ensure the model is placed at the correct floor level within your scene. The geometry is optimized for clean topology, allowing for easy material adjustments or texture scaling to suit your specific project requirements. Because the chair uses a continuous quilted fabric, ensure your mapping coordinates are properly aligned to maintain the pattern consistency across the curved surfaces. Utilize standard lighting setups to highlight the subtle shadows created by the quilted stitching details on the upholstery.

Designed for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and contemporary breakout spaces, this lounge chair serves as a functional statement piece. It pairs effectively with low-profile coffee tables or alongside minimalist side tables in reading nooks. Professionals looking for sculptural seating or modern accent chairs will find this model suitable for high-end interior design visualisations. Search for it when sourcing unique, armless lounge seating that requires a soft, tactile fabric finish to anchor a room composition effectively.
