Contemporary Rectangular Rug Collection in Assorted Patterns and Textures

This collection of contemporary rectangular rugs for SketchUp features various textures and geometric patterns for diverse interior styles. This set includes fifteen distinct rectangular rug designs, ranging from high-pile shaggy textures to flat-woven geometric prints. The collection offers a versatile palette of neutrals, including deep charcoal, soft beige, warm mocha, and muted greys, alongside specific patterned options like circles, checkered blocks, and abstract angular segments. Each piece is modeled as a flat rectangular element, suitable for layering under furniture in 3D floor plans or interior vignettes. The variety of scales and styles ensures compatibility with modern living rooms, bedrooms, or nursery spaces, providing a quick solution for adding floor detail to architectural renderings.

The download is a 13.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 15 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rug models are best utilised as components. Designers can easily drop these into a floor plan, scaling them as needed to fit specific room dimensions. Because they are flat, they are ideal for placing directly onto the floor plane to avoid z-fighting. Users should apply high-quality fabric textures or materials to the surfaces to achieve a realistic finish, ensuring they are placed on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design and rendering process.
