Contemporary Purple Fabric Sectional Sofa Living Room Scene

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a purple fabric sectional sofa with a matching lounge chair and coffee table. This curated living room scene comprises a low-profile sectional sofa upholstered in a vibrant purple fabric, featuring a tufted seat design and an integrated chaise. The set is accompanied by a light-toned, curved armchair and a circular coffee table with a warm-toned wooden top and slender metal base. A large, decorative perforated screen acts as a backdrop, providing a structured vertical element. The arrangement is grounded by a neutral area rug, creating a cohesive visual unit. The design prioritises clean lines and tactile contrast, balancing the bold upholstery with soft, inviting forms.

The download is a 66.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this collection arrives as a grouped assembly, allowing for easy placement and orientation within your project model. Users should manage the geometry using layers or tags to toggle the visibility of the backdrop screen or individual furniture pieces. Apply materials directly via the paint bucket tool if customisation is required. For optimal performance, ensure the model is positioned on the floor plane and use the native scale tools to adjust the footprint to fit specific room dimensions before rendering.

Ideal for residential interior visualisations, this set works well in open-plan living areas, modern apartments, or boutique hotel lounges. The scene provides a ready-made focal point for staging mock-ups, saving time on asset selection and arrangement. Professionals can integrate this into projects requiring a bold colour palette or contemporary aesthetic. It pairs effectively with minimalist wall treatments, warm ambient lighting, and neutral flooring, making it a versatile choice for designers seeking a balanced, high-impact furniture composition for client-facing presentations.
