Contemporary Patterned Fabric Wood Lounge Chair with Cushion

This contemporary lounge chair for 3ds Max features a solid timber frame and patterned fabric upholstery with an accent scatter cushion. This lounge chair is defined by its exposed timber frame, featuring slender, tapered legs and rounded armrests that provide a light, organic aesthetic. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a geometric, monochrome-style patterned fabric, offering a distinct visual contrast to the natural wood finish. A plush scatter cushion, finished in a complementary circular-patterned fabric, is included to enhance comfort and provide textural depth. The proportions are compact yet supportive, making it an ideal choice for smaller reading corners or as an accent piece in a larger seating arrangement.

The download is a 46.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object is placed on the floor plane and check that the material mapping for the complex fabric patterns is correctly scaled to match your project's environment. The timber frame components are separated, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain orientation or material properties. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the texture of the fabric and the natural finish of the timber frame, ensuring the scatter cushion is correctly positioned against the backrest.

This armchair is well-suited for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or relaxed office lounge areas where a blend of comfort and style is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or as a solitary statement piece alongside a floor lamp. Professionals searching for accent seating, patterned upholstery chairs, or wooden frame lounge furniture will find this asset versatile for various interior design schemes, particularly those focusing on contemporary or eclectic aesthetics where textured fabrics are used to add character to a space.
