About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a low-profile silhouette upholstered in a textured off-white boucle fabric. This low-profile armchair is defined by its soft, rounded geometry and deep-seated comfort. The design features a continuous, plush form that integrates the backrest and armrests into a single, cohesive unit. Upholstered in a tactile off-white boucle fabric, the piece exhibits subtle tufting details on the backrest, which accentuate its soft, organic curves. The absence of visible legs creates a grounded, monolithic appearance, making it suitable for modern interiors that prioritise comfort and clean, sculptural lines. Its compact footprint and generous padding offer an inviting aesthetic for lounge areas.

The download is a 3.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is best utilised by merging the model into your scene and applying a high-quality fabric material to the upholstery mesh. Ensure the UV mapping is scaled appropriately to match the scale of the boucle texture, as the weave size significantly impacts the realism of the render. The model is structured for easy placement on floor planes and can be adjusted in scale to suit specific spatial requirements within your interior design project.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or private reading nooks, this armchair pairs well with minimalist coffee tables and soft, neutral-toned rugs. Its sculptural form serves as a focal point in contemporary or transitional interior design schemes. Professionals often search for this type of seating when specifying furniture for high-end residential projects or luxury commercial reception areas, looking for pieces that balance comfort with a refined, understated aesthetic that complements various interior styles without overpowering the room's overall composition.
