About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a solid oak table and four cantilevered chairs with rattan seating and chrome frames. The set includes a rectangular dining table with a thick oak veneer top and a central block base. Four matching dining chairs accompany the table, each constructed with a polished chrome tubular frame in a classic cantilevered design. The seats and backrests are finished in woven rattan, providing a light, textured contrast to the heavy timber of the table. The proportions are balanced, suitable for modern open-plan living areas. The clean lines and mix of natural wood, metal, and organic weave create a versatile aesthetic that fits various interior styles from minimalist to mid-century inspired spaces.

The download is a 30.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the table and individual chairs. Users can adjust the oak texture mapping to suit specific project scales or apply custom materials to the chrome frames if required. The model is scaled for standard dining heights, and the geometry is clean for efficient scene placement. Lighting setups should account for the reflective properties of the chrome frames to ensure realistic highlights within the final render.

This dining set is ideal for residential kitchen-diners, boutique restaurant interiors, and hotel dining spaces. It pairs well with minimalist decor, neutral colour palettes, and industrial-style lighting. Architects and interior designers will find this piece useful for staging contemporary apartments or high-end hospitality projects during the schematic design and visualisation phases.
