About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair and ottoman set features deep navy leather upholstery and sleek, minimalist metal legs. This lounge set consists of a compact, curved-back armchair and a coordinating square ottoman. The chair is defined by its continuous, rounded armrest and backrest profile, which creates a structured yet comfortable silhouette. Both pieces are upholstered in a smooth, dark navy leather finish, providing a clean and uniform aesthetic. The design is elevated by slender, tapered metal legs that provide a subtle contrast to the heavy, upholstered volumes above. The proportions are balanced for relaxed seating, making this a versatile addition to modern interior schemes.

When working in 3ds Max, this set is best handled as a grouped object for easy placement within a scene. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for accurate floor-level positioning. Users should apply their preferred leather material maps to the UV-unwrapped geometry to achieve the desired level of realism. The model is scaled for standard residential use, allowing for quick integration into architectural visualizations without extensive adjustments to the geometry or pivot alignment.

This armchair and ottoman combination is ideal for creating intimate reading corners in residential bedrooms, living rooms, or home libraries. It also serves as a sophisticated accent piece in hotel suites, boutique lobbies, or executive lounge areas. Designers often pair this set with floor lamps or side tables to complete a cohesive relaxation zone.
