Contemporary Brown Leather and Metal Nightstand with Shelf

This contemporary nightstand in 3ds Max features a brown leather-clad drawer unit supported by a sleek grey metal frame with a lower shelf. This sophisticated nightstand presents a circular profile with a single pull-out drawer wrapped in rich brown leather. The structure is supported by slender, curved grey metal legs that extend upwards to frame the upper volume. A secondary circular shelf, finished in matching brown leather, provides additional storage or display space near the base. The design balances soft tactile surfaces with a rigid, industrial-inspired metallic skeleton. The clean lines and compact footprint make this piece suitable for high-end residential interiors where a refined, minimalist aesthetic is required for bedroom or lounge arrangements.

The download is an 11.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and check for correct unit scaling relative to your bed or sofa height. The model comes with distinct material IDs for the leather and metal components, allowing for easy adjustment of reflection and glossiness values. Ensure that the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for accurate placement on floor surfaces. For optimal results, apply a subtle noise map to the leather textures to enhance realism under close-up lighting conditions.

This piece is ideal for luxury master suites and high-end hotel guest rooms, where it serves as a functional bedside anchor. Its compact, elevated design pairs effectively with low-profile platform beds or modern upholstered headboards. Professionals searching for a refined side table will find this model useful for adding depth to bedroom vignettes or sophisticated living room seating areas. It complements contemporary interiors that utilise organic textures like leather alongside metallic accents, effectively bridging the gap between comfort and structural precision.
