About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max kitchen island set features an integrated natural wood dining table and matching upholstered chairs. This multifunctional kitchen island features a base unit finished in light natural wood, topped with a striking white and grey veined marble countertop. The island seamlessly extends into a cantilevered dining table, crafted from matching wood veneer. Accompanying the unit are four modern chairs with two-tone upholstery, featuring a dark brown exterior shell and a lighter beige seat and backrest, supported by slender metal legs. The composition is balanced and clean, designed to serve as a primary focal point for open-plan living and dining areas, combining food preparation space with casual seating.

The download is a 52.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy separation of the island base, the marble top, and individual chairs. Users should check the pivot points for the chairs to ensure efficient placement around the table. The materials are set up for standard rendering workflows; ensure that texture paths are re-linked if the asset is moved between projects. Apply a subtle HDRI environment map to capture the reflective properties of the marble and the metal chair legs.

Ideal for residential open-plan kitchen designs, this set works well in high-end apartments or modern family homes where space efficiency is a priority. It functions as a breakfast bar, a casual dining area, or a central gathering point. Architects and interior designers can use this asset in project stages ranging from concept development to final presentation renders.
