About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bookshelf features a natural wood frame with white shelves and includes a curated set of kitchen decor. This five-tier open shelving unit combines a warm-toned natural wood frame with crisp white horizontal surfaces. The design is lightweight and elevated, featuring arched top supports that provide structural stability while maintaining an airy aesthetic. The unit is supplied as a complete set, including an assortment of decorative accessories such as woven rattan baskets, ceramic jars, bowls, and stacked plates. The proportions are tall and narrow, making it suitable for compact spaces. Each shelf offers ample room for styling, with the lower levels accommodating larger storage baskets and the upper shelves holding smaller kitchenware.

The download is a 65.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, import the model as a single group or use the merge command to preserve the layer structure. The textures are mapped to the wood and ceramic surfaces, allowing for easy adjustment of material properties. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls. For optimal results in a render, check the scale against standard interior heights and apply a subtle light map to define the shelf depths.

Ideal for residential kitchen, dining room, or living area projects, this shelving unit adds a functional and decorative touch to contemporary interiors. It works well in scandi-inspired homes or minimalist apartments where open storage is required to display curated kitchenware. Professional designers often search for this type of asset when looking to populate interior scenes with realistic, lived-in details. It pairs effectively with natural wood furniture, light-toned wall finishes, and indoor plants, fitting seamlessly into both staging and high-end residential visualisation workflows.
