Contemporary Upholstered Lounge Chair and Stool Collection

This contemporary lounge chair and stool set, modelled in 3ds Max, features diverse sculptural forms in textured boucle and soft fabric. This collection features four distinct seating pieces, each defined by unique sculptural silhouettes. Included are two rounded, low-profile lounge chairs finished in a neutral boucle textile, one wide-profile armchair with slender metal legs and a matching lumbar cushion, and two whimsical stools with high, tail-like backrests upholstered in soft pink velvet-style fabric. The mix of organic shapes, ranging from plump, cocoon-like forms to sleek, minimalist profiles, offers a versatile aesthetic. The base materials vary from hidden plinth styles to metallic supports, ensuring each piece provides a distinct visual character while maintaining a cohesive contemporary design language.

The download is a 21.4 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can easily toggle between the different seating models by isolating layers or selecting specific mesh groups. The materials are pre-assigned and can be adjusted within the material editor to match specific project lighting conditions. Scaling should be performed at the object level to maintain correct proportions, and standard pivot points are set at the base for efficient placement on floor planes within architectural interior visualisations.

These pieces are ideal for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern retail showrooms where a mix of sculptural seating is required. They pair well with minimalist coffee tables or serve as focal points in a reading nook or lounge area. Professionals looking for expressive, organic furniture to add texture and personality to a contemporary interior will find these models highly effective for creating curated, layered spaces that feel both sophisticated and welcoming in high-quality 3D render projects.
