About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a rectangular natural wood table paired with six black plastic chairs. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a clean-lined natural wood top and six matching stackable-style chairs in a matte black finish. The table features a simple, flat-edge profile with visible wood grain, providing a warm, organic contrast to the sleek, monochromatic chairs. Each chair exhibits a curved backrest and seat for ergonomic support, supported by four slender, tapered legs. The set is presented as a cohesive assembly, suitable for immediate placement in interior scenes requiring a balanced mix of natural warmth and modern, industrial-inflected utility in a dining environment.

The download is a 4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this 3ds Max set, use the merge command to bring the objects into your current scene. The model is organised by logical naming conventions, allowing you to easily isolate the table or individual chairs for adjustments. Ensure your pivot points are correctly aligned at the base of the legs for accurate placement on floor surfaces. Apply your preferred global illumination settings and light the scene using an HDRI to highlight the material contrast between the wood grain and the smooth plastic surfaces.

Designed for residential dining rooms, compact kitchen-diners, or modern cafe interiors, this set offers a versatile aesthetic for various project stages. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor, neutral palettes, or industrial-style settings where functional, high-contrast furniture is required. Professionals often search for this type of set when specifying furniture for open-plan living areas or commercial hospitality spaces. It serves as a practical, ready-to-use solution for visualising contemporary living environments, particularly in projects emphasising clean lines, durability, and a balanced, uncluttered interior design approach.
