About this asset

This collection of children's toys is provided as a SketchUp model set, featuring various plastic and wooden items for interior staging. This set comprises sixteen distinct toy models designed for nursery or playroom interior visualisation. The collection includes a mix of ride-on vehicles, rocking horses, pull-along toys, and handheld play items such as building blocks and stacking rings. Each object features simple, clean geometry with vibrant primary and secondary colours, mimicking common plastic and wooden toy construction. The set offers a variety of scales and forms, ranging from small handheld items to larger floor-standing play equipment, allowing for a comprehensive dressing of children's living spaces or educational environments.

The download is a 40 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 16 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these assets into a SketchUp project, import the desired component file directly into the model space. Each toy is modelled as a separate entity, facilitating easy placement on shelves, floors, or within storage units. Users can scale individual items to suit the specific project requirements and apply custom materials or textures to the existing geometry to adjust the appearance for specific rendering styles. Maintain component instances to keep file size manageable during the design development phase.

These decorative assets are ideal for populating residential nurseries, children's bedrooms, playrooms, and kindergarten projects. They serve as essential staging elements to add character and realism to interior renders, helping to communicate the intended use of a space. Designers can arrange these models on bookshelves, in toy chests, or scattered across play mats to suggest a lived-in atmosphere. They pair effectively with modern furniture, soft textiles, and neutral palettes, creating a welcoming and functional aesthetic for family-oriented interior designs.
