About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a modular kids' room setup with multicolour storage units, a striped armchair, and toys. The scene comprises a modular storage system constructed from box-like units, some with house-shaped roof frames, finished in a palette of soft pink, blue, white, and dark grey. Included is a low-profile, striped fabric armchair with playful rabbit-ear detailing, placed atop a circular patterned rug. An assortment of decorative elements, including stuffed animal figures, wooden building blocks, and a string of decorative lights, completes the composition. The entire arrangement is set against a panelled wall, creating a cohesive, stylised environment suitable for a nursery or playroom interior visualisation.

The download is a 84.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this scene is organised as a collection of components and groups. Users should check the layer or tag structure to isolate individual furniture pieces from the decorative assets. The materials are applied as standard textures; ensure the texture paths are correctly re-linked if missing upon opening. For rendering, adjust the lighting settings to complement the existing string light geometry, and consider applying soft-body or cloth modifiers if further customisation of the fabric armchair is required for specific animation needs.

This asset is ideal for residential interior projects, specifically for children's bedrooms, nurseries, or playrooms. It serves as a ready-made staging solution for architects and designers looking to populate a space quickly without modelling individual toys or storage units. Professionals might search for 'kids room interior', 'modular toy storage', or 'playroom furniture set' when looking for similar assets. It pairs well with neutral wall treatments or soft pastel colour schemes in contemporary design workflows for high-quality architectural presentations.
