About this asset

This contemporary swivel armchair, modelled for SketchUp, features a distinct monochrome patterned fabric upholstery and a matching accent cushion. Defined by a compact, rounded silhouette, this armchair offers a comfortable, deep-seated profile with integrated low-profile arms. The exterior is fully upholstered in a high-contrast black and white patterned textile, providing a bold visual texture. A single square accent cushion, featuring a subtle tufted or stitched cross-pattern, rests against the backrest. The entire structure is supported by a concealed, circular swivel base, allowing for smooth rotation. Its proportions are suited for intimate seating areas, balancing soft, organic curves with a modern, structured aesthetic that works well in neutral interior schemes.

The download is a 6.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a single component, making it easy to place and rotate within your interior scenes. You can adjust the scale to suit specific room dimensions or swap the texture mapping on the fabric if a different pattern scale is required for close-up renders. The swivel base is grouped separately, allowing for precise orientation within your floor plan, while the cushion can be toggled or repositioned to adjust the chair's overall look and comfort level in your visualization.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive office lounge areas where a statement accent chair is needed. It pairs effectively with minimalist side tables or as a pair facing a central coffee table. Professionals searching for modern occasional seating, patterned accent chairs, or compact swivel furniture will find this asset useful for creating inviting, textured corners in both high-end residential projects and commercial hospitality spaces that require a touch of personality and functional flexibility.
