Contemporary Living Room Furniture Scene Set

A collection of contemporary living room furniture scenes modelled in SketchUp, featuring various sofa and accent table configurations. This comprehensive collection comprises four distinct living room furniture arrangements, each showcasing a unique aesthetic. The sets include a variety of sofas, ranging from tufted and L-shaped designs to minimalist linear styles, paired with diverse accent tables. Materials featured include fabric upholstery in neutral tones, solid wood surfaces, and metallic accents for legs and frames. The layouts are complemented by secondary seating such as lounge chairs and ottomans, alongside decorative elements like rugs and side tables, providing a versatile resource for interior design projects requiring varied seating configurations.

The download is a 198 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can efficiently incorporate these arrangements into SketchUp projects by importing the file and exploding the components to access individual furniture pieces. The assets are organised into distinct groups, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a larger floor plan. Materials can be adjusted via the default tray to match specific project colour palettes. For optimal performance, ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to maintain clear scene management during the design process.

These furniture sets are suitable for residential interior design, particularly for staging living rooms and lounge areas in apartments or family homes. They serve as an excellent starting point for conceptualising space planning in early-stage design or for creating detailed visualisations. Professionals looking for ready-made living room layouts will find these assets useful for rapid prototyping. They pair well with diverse interior styles, from modern minimalist to warm contemporary, and can be easily adapted to fit different room proportions.
