About this asset

This contemporary TV cabinet for SketchUp features a light wood finish, four cupboard doors, a central open shelf, and a drawer. This media console showcases a clean, contemporary aesthetic with a light, natural wood grain finish. The low-profile unit is supported by splayed legs, giving it a subtle mid-century influence. Storage is provided by four side cupboard doors accented with small, circular black knobs. The central section incorporates an open recess for media devices, positioned directly above a single pull-out drawer with a matching black knob. The rounded corners of the cabinet body soften the overall silhouette, while the dark interior of the open shelf creates a sharp visual contrast against the light exterior timber finish.

The download is a 512 KB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this unit into a SketchUp scene, place the component directly against a living room wall or within an entertainment unit assembly. Ensure the model is positioned on the floor plane, using the splayed legs as a guide for alignment. Apply custom wood grain textures to the cabinet faces to match project-specific timber species if necessary, and ensure the black knobs are assigned to a separate material tag for easy editing or adjustment of surface finishes during the rendering phase.

Ideal for modern residential living rooms, this versatile TV cabinet fits seamlessly into minimalist, Scandinavian, or contemporary interior schemes. It serves as a functional anchor for media setups, providing ample concealed storage for electronics and accessories while maintaining a tidy, uncluttered appearance. Designers often pair this piece with wall-mounted shelving or low-profile coffee tables to achieve a balanced, cohesive look.
