About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a distinctive grey-stained timber frame and off-white fabric upholstery with a patterned cushion. This contemporary armchair showcases a clean, minimalist silhouette defined by its exposed timber frame, finished in a muted grey stain that highlights the natural grain. The seat and curved backrest are upholstered in a smooth, off-white fabric, providing a subtle contrast to the wood structure. A single decorative scatter cushion, featuring a grey and white abstract pattern, is included to enhance the visual depth. The design prioritises structural elegance, with the frame wrapping around the backrest to create a cohesive, sculptural profile suitable for refined interior settings.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max project, ensure the object pivot is set to the base for easy placement on floor surfaces. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward material assignments if custom fabric textures are required to match a specific project palette. Use standard align tools to position the chair against walls or around tables. For high-quality visualisations, apply a subtle bump map to the wood grain to enhance realism under close-up lighting conditions, maintaining efficient scene management.
