Contemporary Grey Velvet Upholstered Bench with Gold Base

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey velvet upholstered bench with a gold metal plinth base, complete with a throw blanket. This rectangular bench features a plush, dark grey velvet upholstery with subtle channel tufting across the seat surface. The form is defined by soft, rounded corners that contrast with the clean lines of the metallic gold plinth base. Included with the bench is a highly detailed, textured monochrome herringbone-patterned throw blanket draped over one side, alongside a black tray containing glassware and decanters. The proportions are low-profile, making it suitable for placement at the foot of a bed or within a sophisticated lounge area as an accent piece or secondary seating.

The download is a 16.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the bench, the throw, and the accessories. The velvet material uses a standard shader setup suitable for close-up shots, while the gold base is mapped with a clean, reflective metallic finish. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy alignment with floor surfaces. The blanket geometry is separate, allowing for custom placement or removal if a cleaner aesthetic is required for your specific interior render composition.

Ideal for high-end residential projects and luxury hotel suites, this bench serves as a versatile piece for bedrooms, walk-in closets, or spacious dressing areas. It pairs well with modern bedroom furniture, minimalist wardrobes, or as a focal point in a contemporary living room arrangement. Professionals searching for elegant bedroom seating, foot-of-bed benches, or decorative lounge ottomans will find this asset useful for staging high-quality architectural visualisations that require a refined, layered look with realistic textile details and metallic accents.
