About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a grey velvet upholstered base with vertical fluting and a circular glass top surface. Defined by its soft, cylindrical silhouette, this coffee table combines tactile luxury with functional design. The base is fully upholstered in a plush grey velvet, featuring deep vertical channel tufting that wraps around the entire circumference. A contrasting thin gold-tone metal trim separates the upholstered body from the circular tabletop, which is finished in a smooth, reflective white glass. The set includes curated decorative accessories, specifically a small clear glass vase with greenery and a stacked book arrangement, providing an immediate sense of scale and materiality for high-end interior visualisations.

The download is a 7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the object pivot is set to the base center for easy placement on floor planes. Use the provided material slots to adjust the velvet sheen and glass reflection maps to match your specific scene lighting. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient scaling if required. Always check the normals after scaling to maintain proper light interaction, and consider applying a slight chamfer modifier to the metal trim for enhanced edge highlights in close-up renders.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or luxury lounge areas, this piece serves as a sophisticated focal point. It pairs well with minimalist sofas or velvet armchairs to balance textures in a room. Professionals searching for a round velvet coffee table or a tufted ottoman-style table will find this asset versatile for various high-end project stages, from initial concept renders to final marketing visuals.
